This building has been marked as a Harbour Office on Site Plan for Castlehill Pavement Works Steading and Harbour <1>.

C18-19 harbour office, part of Castlehill House Steading. It is unknown if the building was constructed with the specific purpose of a harbour office, or if it was converted from an existing steading building. The main part of the building is roofed; the single storey extension on the north-facing gable wall is unroofed <2>.
